Usually, when you read about car donation you always get the perspectives of the donor and the receiving charity. Have you ever thought about seeing the donation process through the car’s point of view? Probably not. After all, no one wants to watch a documentary, beginning to end, of a regular vehicle being transported. After a thorough inspection by the receiving charity… The car could end up at someone’s house to provide much needed transportation, it’s parts may be sold to replace missing pieces on another car or it may be sold at an auction to help fund a job placement program.
Which path will your car take? It’s actually not hard to tell if you look at the condition of your vehicle. If it’s an old clunker then chances are it will be taken apart and it’s pieces will be sold separately. If it’s in good running condition then it will likely either be donated to a family in need of transportation or sold at an auction.
