Goodwill Industries® of Rhode Island has organized a “Ride For Independence” motorcycle run for later this month to help raise funds for job training and education for the disabled and disadvantaged. This is an awesome example of how you can raise money for a great cause while doing something you love. If you don’t live in Rhode Island or don’t have a motorcycle you can still help your local chapter by making a car donation. The proceeds from you car donation will go towards job skills and training at your local Goodwill Industries® chapter. Donating a car is easy, quick and best of all free! Not to mention that you’ll be able to receive a tax deduction for your vehicle donation.
Goodwill Industries® is an amazing organization that does so much good and yet they still appreciate every small act of kindness that they receive. The donation of time, money or a vehicle is wonderful because is shows concern for the community and generosity. Don’t let your old beat up car become and eyesore for the community and a roadblock in your driveway.
