We live in the age of now. Everything needs to be done as soon as possible and results must be instantaneous and the second an item is upgraded the version before is useless. This is the way we live and it a very wasteful way of life which is where Goodwill Industries® of Central Florida comes in. They have started a new cell phone recycling project. People come in and drop off their old phones and the phones are then sold to a recycler where they can be properly disposed of and metals that can be salvaged are. Another combination of metal pieces and cogs that can be donated for a good cause are you guessed it, you car! You can donate a car to charity and help improve your community while improving your taxes and standing in the neighborhood.
Goodwill Industries® takes donated cars and either sells them at auction or recycles the donated vehicle and the proceeds come back to that local branch and are used for job skills and training programs in the community that chapter services. Your donated car can help someone in your community get a job and improving their quality of living. Vehicle donation plays a significant role in funding the resources necessary to keep many of Goodwill Industries’ programs going. Not only is important to help your fellow man it’s also important to maintain and appreciate our natural resources.
