On April 18, 2009, at the Tuscarawas County (Ohio) YMCA, the Second Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event takes place. The event is put together by COMPASS, Inc., a non-profit affiliate of Goodwill Industries. COMPASS is dedicated to providing crisis intervention and support for victims of sexual assault. They also have programs to prevent sexual assault through the promotion of community awareness and education in Tuscarawas County and Carroll County, Ohio.
